ICYM is a large youth organisation that spreads over 160 dioceses of India. It operates in a four level system. i.e The General Body, the Governing Body, National Council and the National Executive Committee (NEXCO). These bodies work in four different spheres to strengthen the ICYM. The General Body The General Body of the ICYM consists of the representatives of the Diocesan ICYM, Regional ICYM, National Council of ICYM and 15 Office Bearers of Catholic Bishop's Conference of India (CBCI) including the Deputy Secretary General of CBCI. Diocesan ICYM The Diocesan ICYM's two Diocesan Youth Representatives [Male & Female] (DYRs), President of Diocesan ICYM, Diocesan Youth Director (DYD) and Diocesan Youth Lady Animator (DYLA) shall represent the Diocesan ICYM at Regional ICYM. The Diocesan ICYM's two DYRs, DYD, DYLA and President of Diocesan ICYM shall Represent the Diocesan ICYM at the General Body Meeting of ICYM. Regional ICYM Regional ICYM's two Regional Youth Representatives [Male & Female] (RYRs), President of Regional ICYM, Regional Youth Director (RYD) and Regional Youth Lady Animator (RYLA) shall represent the Regional ICYM at the National Council of ICYM. National Council of ICYM The National Council of ICYM comprises of all the Regional Youth Representatives (RYRs), Regional Youth Presidents (RYPs), Regional Youth Directors (RYDs), Regional Youth Lady Animators (RYLAs), National Youth Director (NYD), National Youth Lady Animator (NYLA) the Chairman Bishop and the Members of the CBCI Commission for Youth.
