March 29 -30, 2014 Mysore: The KRCBC Youth Commission Organized “Motivational and Leadership Training Program” at ODP, Mysore on 29th and 30th March 2014.
Bishop Henry D`Souza The chairman of KRCBC youth commission has called upon the Christian youth of Karnataka Region to make Jesus as their role model.
He in his address said, “Through leadership make people experience God’s intervention and utilize every platform that you get for making the good deeds.”
The Bishop of Mysore Thomas Antony Vazhapilly in his inaugural address called the youth to be the pillars of the church. He said, “The church considers every youth as its asset. Hence each one of you should serve church as your mother”
In the inaugural ceremony the Bishop blessed the prayer cards of the Regional Youth Convention ‘YUVAJANOTHSAVA-2014’ to be held in the Mysore Diocese in the month of October, 24-26, 2014.
The chief resource person of the whole program was Prof. Dr. Jose Mathew, an entrepreneur by himself and an international human resource management trainer along with the co-resource person Cyril Edward Mathias, who hails from Pamboor, shantipura but currently settled in Bangalore.
The effective and practical concepts of the resource person were able to seed the dreams of true achievement in the hearts of the youth leaders of Karnataka.

Along with Prof. Jose, successful entrepreneurs Mr. Ronald Castelino and Lollin VS Tellis of Roy Constructions and Spark Group respectively mesmerized and motivated the youth through their testimonies.
In the course of the program Rev. Fr. Mari Joseph, the Regional Youth Director, Rev. Fr. Anthony Raj, the Diocesan Youth Director and members of the regional council were present along with more than 78 youth from all the dioceses of Karnataka.
