A half-day recollection programme was organised for the youth of Lucknow diocese on Sunday, the 21st of February 2016 from 9am-1pm. Around 125 youth gathered in Cathedral Hall to be a part of this programme.

The recollection started with an action song followed by Praise and Worship for the youth, conducted by the DEXCO team. A one-hour talk was given by the resource person of the day, Dr. Sanjay Kumar.

Dr. Sanjay Kumar received anointment in a retreat in St. John Mary Vianney Church. He recently completed his Ph.D in Biblical studies. God gave him gift of healing. His evangelical life began eight years before, since then he is preaching and healing people of Jesus. He gave a meaningful talk mainly emphasizing on the importance of the Word of God in our lives. He also made known to us some interesting facts about the meaning of the Holy Eucharist, the significance of the Cross and how the sacrament of Confession is the Baptism of life. He concluded his talk with short praise and worship. Then few youth came up to share their experience and gave Dr. Sanjay a vote of thanks.

Fr. Marianus Horo (DYD) and the DEXCO members conducted the Holy Hour, preparing the youth for a good confession. A good number of youth participated in confessions preparing themselves in the Lenten season. Fr. Marianus then offered a special Mass for the youth at St. Joseph's Cathedral Church. The programme concluded with lunch for all.

Overall, the programme was a success and the youth took Peace back home in their hearts.
